So, the event is complete, and you’ve got a bunch of fun and exciting videos from your AAAUltimateBooth that you want the world to see (or maybe just your friends and family)—now what? Do you have to have a bunch of technical know-how to upload these videos to YouTube? Not at all! Not sure where to start? Here’s all you need to do:

Log In and Upload

If you don’t already have a YouTube account, don’t worry. Signing up is easy and free.  Watch this great tutorial if you need more help creating a YouTube account. Once your account is set u and you’re signed in, simply click on the Upload button in the upper right of the YouTube screen. Find your file (if you saved it to the desktop, simply click on “Desktop” in the menu that appears and scroll down until you see your video’s name).

Your video will start uploading and you’ll be given a few options to choose from and a short form to fill out. Fill out the form while you wait, and soon the video will be uploaded.

Edit the Video

Once you’ve loaded the videos to YouTube, edit them together into the format you want. Youtube just added a great new video edit feature so you can do it all in one place without additional software!  Check out this tutorial video if you want to see how easy it is.

Remember that it can be no longer than 10 minutes and must remain under a gigabyte. Save the video file in an easy-to-find location on your computer (the desktop is a good choice if you haven’t done this before). Now, once your video prepared…

Can I Keep my Video Private?

Yes—when filling out the form for the video, look for “Privacy” and simply click “Private.” You’ll then be able to select a small group of people who can watch your video from their YouTube usernames or you can select to share the video with only certain people you email the link to.

Why not consider linking your customers to this page from your website or email to make it even easier for them to get the most out of their video booth experience—Also, consider making printouts for your customers at your next event and placing it on a nearby table for anyone to take.
